Scubapro MK25/S600
The MK25 is Scubapro’s top of the line regulator. It is considered to be one of the best regulators in the world and is in the same league as Apeks XTX200, Aqualung Legend, Zeagle Flathead 7 and Poseidon Odin.
The Regulator uses an air balanced flow-through piston. The balanced piston allows the use of lighter and more sensitive components, resulting in ultra fast breathing response, instant delivery of air on demand, and extra high air flow, especially in low tank pressure ranges.
The MK25 has Two opposite high pressure ports. The arrangement is opposite and it allows the diver to position the gauges either on the right or left side and increases the freedom of movement for head and neck. the MK25 accommodates five HF (high flow) ports on a swiveling turret, which allows for 360 degree swivel of hoses.
The intermediate pressure Is extremely adjustable and it can easily be fine tuned without disassembling the first stage. The first stage adapts to external pressure changes and comes standard with the Thermal Insulating System (TIS), which keeps your first stage from freezing up and malfunctioning in cold water conditions. The rotating turret allows your hoses to settle into the most comfortable configuration however you move. The Regulator never give “free-flow” on the surface or before a dive.
The S600 second stage provides Air-balanced valve technology. The air-balanced valve technology features a balancing chamber in the second stage mechanism, slightly offsetting the force of the downstream air entering from the first stage. This allows reduced spring tension and decreases the inhalation resistance to the lowest possible level.
The S600 features a Control Knob to adjust the enhalation effort.and a Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA). Which uses the power of a vacuum assist to reduce work of breathing and increase breathing comfort.
Like all other Scubapro second stages it has the Orthodontic mouthpiece to reduce jaw fatigue and gum irritation.
